While I'm an Irish girl, born and bred, I live in northern Spain with my husband, 2 sons and cat. With nothing more than a bookshelf full of English language books and my laptop, I'm proud to work with people just like you to speak up and share your ideas in English.

How do I tell my story & skip that I’m not your typical English coach?
Living in Spain and having needed a second language for my teaching job and everyday life, I recognise how hard it is to use another language day-to-day. I know how nerves can stop you from showing your true self at work, in your studies or with new friends.
So, I'll tell you if you're being too hard on yourself, identify the challenges holding you back, and will forever prioritise your progress over perfection.

So, how did it all start, you may ask...
Well, I didn’t start with teaching English. Yes, you read that right!
Fresh into my first teaching role at an international school, and I soon realised just how a language could really impact someone’s everyday life.
I gradually started working with adults on their language development, because I saw this trend reflected in them as well. The longer I worked with students and teachers across the world, from Switzerland to Palestine, the more I saw how struggling with a language could significantly impact someone's educational, professional, emotional & social achievements.
Whether it was affecting the educational outcomes of younger students, women too shy to use their language skills socially to make friends in a new country or professionals too nervous to showcase their expertise in English. That's when I decided I wanted to do something different! And so here we are . . .

Cadbury’s, my 3 boys, the outdoors, freshly roasted coffee, a good book on a rainy day, the ‘goober’ (a.k.a. our cat), a good laugh with friends, being a girl boss.
